It’s time to wipe the DVR slate clean and settle in for a new fall TV season. Sure, there are lots of things shiny and new coming soon to a screen near you, such as HBO’s adaptation of “My Brilliant Friend” and the new Doctor, Jodie Whittaker. But there are also a lot of familiar faces returning to prime time too. Including “Castle” star Nathan Fillion, who’s back on ABC (playing a real cop this time), and reboots (“Magnum P.I,” Charmed”) and revivals (welcome back, Murphy Brown) galore.
