Saint Laurent is coming on strong on the Oscars red carpet.
I was wondering why Hedi Slimane’s rocker-chic label wasn’t more of a presence on the Grammys red carpet earlier this month, and this may be why: Slimane, who is based part time in Los Angeles, was holding out for the bigger prize, the Oscars.
Dakota Johnson’s red Saint Laurent gown is really special-looking, with a knotted crystal rope shoulder strap and an asymmetrical-looking top. She’s keeping things simple with a sleek ponytail and Forevermark diamond earrings.

Also in Saint Laurent is Margot Robbie. She’s wearing a rich hippie-style, black peasant dress with a plunge front and sheer long, billowy sleeves.
And with the temperature dropping by the minute, long sleeves could be the night’s best accessory.
